Community Outreach Seed Community Relief focuses on raising awareness and educating communities about the signs, risks, and consequences of modern slavery. We challenge harmful norms, promote alternative perspectives, and empower individuals to recognize and resist exploitative situations.

We carry out diverse community education strategies (workshops, seminars, media campaigns, and informational sessions) to educate community members about the exploitation of and the risks associated with modern slavery through the following activities.

1. Educating community members, duty bearers (policymakers, community groups, local leaders, human rights agencies, community development officers, and relevant stakeholders); victims; survivors; and those at risk to inspire prevention, response, and raise public awareness about the realities of modern slavery, challenging misconceptions and stereotypes.

2. Collaborate with victims and survivors through interactive workshops and trainings to utilize their unique topics, knowledge, skills, practices, perspectives, and experiences as survivors to inform and guide anti-modern slavery strategies as community ambassadors.
